Synthetic Multi-Play Surface
Impact response and stability tests have been carried out that confirm relevant standards are achieved. The method of construction can be either an engineered tarmac or a dynamic sub base of clean graded stone, this is additionally supported by strong geotextile separators thus preventing the infiltration of fines into the sub-base which can lead to the distortion of the level profile
A suitable sports carpet is laid on top of our shock pad and drainage layer (a 3-dimensional core bonded between two non-woven geotextives). Site conditions will always determine the appropriate materials to be used in each project. A full range of technical specifications and test results are available for all our products. We offer the complete service from planning through to commissioning using our own approved contractors.

By understanding the positioning/situation of the practise area, we consult, design, supply and install a range of artificial surfaces for Cricket (& other sports)
Both Engineered bases (Worcestershire C.C.C. as they are on a flood plain) & Dynamic base (sand & stone) - both woven & tufted carpets, this is widely used across the UK, by schools, universities & clubs (see attached pictures on tufted installation) - also consider having a longer pile carpet to accommodate studs on the boundary edge etc., filled with sand & rubber crumb.

This means no more maintaining of bowling ends – grounds-man’s biggest & costliest pain) – giving bowlers greater comfort under foot and allowing them to use their cricket studded boots to bowl in (yes, no tearing of carpets). These can extend out into the boundary area, never worrying that the carpets may be damaged by someone wearing studs when fielding in that area. Also consider this in the grass net areas – where it is a constant on-going maintenance and cost area! This is obviously a “concern” area for all ground staff due to the continual cost of maintaining (getting it right) and the major concerns with rain (no nets?)! We are all fully aware that loose ground/holes etc. are a health hazard to bowlers as strained ankles, ligament damage and other injuries will occur – (having been a fast bowler I can vouch for this!).
